The theme for this week is “a day in my life”. That is a tough one. Trust me, you would be pretty bored with a typical day in my life. After thinking about it for a bit, I decided to take my camera with me on our trip to Dallas this past weekend. The first thing we did was stop for lunch. I snapped a few pictures of my boys coloring while we waited.

Next we went to the rehab center where my husband’s grandpa is staying. The boys love their great grandparents so much and they were so excited to see them.

Here are the cards the boys made for him. ♥

Then we were off to my niece’s birthday party.

By this time my boys were sick of the camera, so I decided to get some night bokeh shots on the way home.

Love the processing of these images – the colors are so gorgeous! Your attention to detail is fabulous and I love that you captured a day in your life. You will treasure these for years!

My little guy is quite the explorer. He is constantly on the go. I have a hard time getting pictures of him because he won’t stay in one place for very long. Solution? Sit him on a chair in high grass and he won’t go very far. He climbed around and explored a little bit, but for the most part he stayed put. He was a dream to photograph. Of course it helps that he is so adorable. ♥

you know….not only have you created a beautiful image for the group project, but you have a lovely keepsake for yourself and your beautiful baby boy. what a magical time. sweet little darling guy with his bear!

I haven’t taken a picture of my oldest son in quite some time. The light outside was so beautiful last Saturday morning, so I decided to ask if I could take his picture. He told me no. I don’t really recall how I finally talked him into it, but I am so glad I did. When he asked how long it would take, I told him 30 minutes. He made me set the timer. He was all smiles, but I can’t reveal what I had to say and do to get him to laugh like that.

  • Sabreena - May 4, 2012 - 4:45 pm

His smile is so wonderful and contagious! Beautiful captures!

  • Leslie - May 4, 2012 - 8:08 pm
